I first saw MANAMU jewellery at an Ubud market and it immediately caught my eye for its unique style and materials. The fine mesh weave was so artistically formed into beautiful organic shapes and styles and its light weight translated into comfort to wear. I soon became addicted as I added various styles and colors of earrings, bracelets and necklaces and the pieces always grabbed attention to which I often found myself explaining their origins. This story was also part of the appeal in that it was a craft developed by a small and remote Indonesian community who were directly benefiting from the sales and opportunities opening up through those skills. I love the artistry and uniqueness of these pieces and never get tired of wearing them
